Inside of the book

When one approaches any novel by Danielewski, they usually expect innovative typography mixed with the author’s surprising prose. This was shown in his first book, House of Leaves, where he manipulated the text on the page to express ideas, thoughts, metaphors, and plot. Yet as one picks up Only Revolutions, the typography offers less of an art form and more of a daunting task the reader must traverse. This mixed with Danielewski playing with prose till it becomes metaphoric clatter makes Only Revolutions a disappointing and even tiring book.

On Sunday, the Broncos finished the Steelers game with a surprising victory, much to the delight of the fans. “When the game started, I was certainly worried it was going to be a letdown. Bulldog Talk

Straight from the UH hallways. Its funny. Its bizarre. Its Bulldog Talk

  • "You want to punt a penguin. It was just beating you!"
  • "When she says we need to talk, I focus all my attention on her and don't punch myself in the balls."
  • "Why were you milking her mouse? Because she was holding my backpack hostage!!"
  • ..."my life is filled with fish sticks"
