Toddlers and Tiaras, the hit TLC show. It should really be called, “Gold Diggers in Training.”
Every episode it showcases pageant babies. It also showcases their temper tantrums, mental break downs, crazy weight loss diets, and most of all… their ridiculously insane mothers.

Matched Trilogy coming out on top of The Hunger Games?
Matched by Ally Condie is very similar to the Hunger Games. Although it has the ‘love triangle’ and similar problems with the government as The Hunger Games it isn’t exactly the same. It does have it’s own plot, it was actually just as, if not more so, interesting then the Hunger Games.  … Continue Reading

It’s that time of the year when the only thing a girl talks about, this month is prom. They talk about who they will go with, where they will eat, and most importantly how they will look. Girls look for their prom dresses months in advanced. It seems to be the most important thing of all time. Each girl wants to look the best at the dance, and find that unique dress, however, this endeavor is not inexpensive by any means.

At 817 8th Avenue lies Greeley’s own Kress Theater. The Kress is a movie theater/ restaurant/ lounge that is open six days a week. Although it is little known to the majority of our students, it offers a wide range of events that almost guarantee a good night for anyone.

For just six dollars a student you get admission to the movie. The Kress has the honor of showing local and national independent films. It also throws in some popular showings for free such as Anchorman or the showing of The Oscars. A list of the free movie nights is available on their website or on their Facebook page. The Kress has always made sure to keep up with the community by changing the showings often and by bringing a great variety of genres to the big screen.

Star Wars: Episode 1: My Love Affair

Jordan rockin' her Vader shirt

A short time ago, in a galaxy far far away… I became a Star Wars fan. People would always talk about different characters in Star Wars; I would just laugh and nod, and act as if I understood. All I knew about Star Wars was there was a guy named Darth Vader, and he said (with sound effects of someone breathing into a scuba mask) “Luke, I am your father.” Winter break of this year, there was a Star Wars marathon on TV. I decided I would watch the sixth episode just to say I saw a movie. I never thought I would really enjoy it.

Man found dead in movie theater bathroom

People die all the time, people also go missing all the time. For society, it seems normal. The body of George DeGrazio, 66 was found in a locked family restroom at the Cinemark in Fort Collins. DeGrazio had died of a heart attack. It would be a normal scenario, however the body wasn’t discovered until 5 days later due to the body’s rotting smell.

Only Revolutions Book Review

Inside of the book

When one approaches any novel by Danielewski, they usually expect innovative typography mixed with the author’s surprising prose. This was shown in his first book, House of Leaves, where he manipulated the text on the page to express ideas, thoughts, metaphors, and plot. Yet as one picks up Only Revolutions, the typography offers less of an art form and more of a daunting task the reader must traverse. This mixed with Danielewski playing with prose …

Multi-tasking Boys

31 Jan 2012

feat.

High school boys are mischievous people and don’t usually think before they act. An effect of this is the mysterious hole in the upstairs high school boy’s bathroom. This bathroom is filled with many secrets. Boys you will understand. Girls, you will never know. Apparently to a boy, peeing gets very boring.

Bulldog Talk

Straight from the UH hallways. Its funny. Its bizarre. Its Bulldog Talk

  • "You want to punt a penguin. It was just beating you!"
  • "When she says we need to talk, I focus all my attention on her and don't punch myself in the balls."
  • "Why were you milking her mouse? Because she was holding my backpack hostage!!"
  • ..."my life is filled with fish sticks"
