About

The UH Pawprint is the University High School’s student ran paper. This is the first year the UH Pawprint has had a website to accompany the print paper. The object of the newspaper is to inform the students on what is happening in the school and around the community. It is also geared to help the student body to become  aware of news and events that otherwise would have gone unnoticed.

The Pawprintstaff invites letters to the editor. Unsigned letters will be accepted. Letters including profanity or obscenity will not be published. The Pawprint has the right to edit for space, grammar, and libel. Letters may be delivered to room 2009 or emailed to the editorial staff here.

The Editorial Board is made up of four students (all editors) with the adviser as a non-voting member. This Board makes final decisions on all content and determines story priority.

The Pawprint will produce 9 issues throughout the year and is published by Wyoming-Tribune Eagle. The Pawprint is an open forum publication.

The opinions of the articles are those of the writer and do not reflect the opinions of the staff, adviser, or the administration.

This bathroom is filled with many secrets. Boys you will understand. Girls, you will never know. Apparently to a boy, peeing gets very boring. Since boys are die hard multi-taskers they tend to do other things while doing their business, such as checking their texts, checking the …

Matched Book Review

Matched Trilogy coming out on top of The Hunger Games?

Matched by Ally Condie is very similar to the Hunger Games. Although it has the ‘love triangle’ and similar problems with the government as The Hunger Games it isn’t exactly the same. It does have it’s own plot, it was actually just as, if not more so, interesting then the Hunger Games.  Cassia, the heroine of the novel, is a sorter. It’s interesting that what she’s good at is sorting people, objects, colors, numbers, etc. …

Bulldog Talk

Straight from the UH hallways. Its funny. Its bizarre. Its Bulldog Talk

  • "You want to punt a penguin. It was just beating you!"
  • "When she says we need to talk, I focus all my attention on her and don't punch myself in the balls."
  • "Why were you milking her mouse? Because she was holding my backpack hostage!!"
  • ..."my life is filled with fish sticks"
